ABMS has agreed to help The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, part of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services to promote a new service to help keep consumers informed of the Agency's latest health care research findings, news, and information. It's Healthcare 411—an audio newscast that features synopses of the latest findings and information on current health care topics. Go to www.healthcare411.org to hear the newscasts through your computer or download them to a portable digital player such as an iPod®.
Institute for Healthcare Improvement 5 Million Lives Campaign >
ABMS has joined the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s 5 Million Lives Campaign, a nationwide initiative to dramatically transform the quality of healthcare by improving the safety and effectiveness of our nation’s healthcare delivery system. IHI expects to engage more than 4,000 hospitals in the campaign and introduce proven best practices to decrease the harm ratio by one-third.
World Health Care Congress >
ABMS is a sponsoring organization of the World Health Care Congress, an annual event focused on providing thought-provoking, timely research to advance the healthcare industry. The event convenes CEOs and senior executives from all segments of the health care industry to exchange ideas and debate with thought leaders in order to foster innovative, solution-oriented approaches to advance healthcare quality, access and contain costs.
