Chief Legal Officer
John D. Mandelbaum provides comprehensive legal support to ABMS on a variety of issues, including contracting, intellectual property, employment and organizational governance. He is also involved in strategic planning, legal review of work product, management of the legal budget and coordination with outside legal counsel.
A seasoned corporate attorney, Mr. Mandelbaum has a diverse background in both domestic and international legal affairs, as well as extensive experience in transactional matters, organizational management and administration. In addition, Mr. Mandelbaum has a long-standing interest in non-profit organizations, including those related to the health care profession. He is a passionate advocate of bioethics.
Prior to coming to ABMS, Mr. Mandelbaum was a Managing Partner in the Chicago and London offices of Husch Blackwell LLP, a leading AmLaw 100 commercial law firm with 650 attorneys and 14 offices in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Mandelbaum received his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from the École Supérieure de Commerce in France.
