The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and its 24 Member Boards are pleased by the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois’s dismissal of the lawsuit filed by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. (AAPS) in April 2013.
ABMS has always maintained that the allegations of the AAPS in its lawsuit were without merit and the Court’s recent ruling serves to support the ABMS’ position.
