The American Heart Association's TGA Program Joins ABMS Multi-Specialty Portfolio Program

ABMS has announced that the American Heart Association - The Guideline Advantage™ program is now participating in the ABMS Multi-Specialty Portfolio Program™. Physicians at AHA-TGA participating practices nationwide who are Board Certified by one of 21 of the 24 ABMS Member Boards participating in the Portfolio Program may now receive MOC Part IV credit for their engagement in QI work at their practice or clinic.

The ABMS Multi-Specialty Portfolio Program has launched a new, redesigned website that is both easier to navigate and offers improved content for site users. The website launch is part of a larger “brand refresh” for the rapidly expanding Portfolio Program, which enables physicians from sponsor hospitals, health systems and health care organizations, Board Certified by one of 21 of the 24 participating ABMS Member Boards participating, to receive MOC Part IV credit for their engagement in QI work.

ABMS has announced that Johns Hopkins Medicine has joined the ABMS Multi-Specialty Portfolio Approval Program™. JHM physicians who are Board Certified by one of 21 of the 24 ABMS Member Boards participating in the Portfolio Program, and are engaged in eligible activities approved by the JHM Office of Continuing Medical Education and the Armstrong Institute for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, can now obtain maintenance of certification credit.
